Winchester Spring Open meet 24th,25th 26th March Long Course
Winchester Long Course spring open meet.
Ealing SC had 11 swimmers competing at the Winchester spring swim meet over the weekend 25th / 26th March. There were many strong performances with several best times. Winning 10 gold ,8silver and 2 bronze medals along with several top 8 places. A special mention to Joe Sheehan who has decided to hang up his trunks. Joe started his swimming career in the houses progressing into tadpoles and then through the programme. He won many medals at county and regional competitions making several National swimming Championship finals. Perhaps his finest hour was the 51.6 he swam at the national championships on the 100mts freestyle. I would like to wish Joe along with all the squad coaches that helped him develop his swimming from that young 8 year old to the 26year old man, all the best for the future and thankyou for being a valued member of Ealing SC.
